Who is this old guy?

I am a retired Christian pastor and clinical therapist. Along with my wife of 50 years, we have invested our lives in providing counseling and encouragement to anyone who desires our help. I have been a sworn officer Police Chaplain, Medical Missions team member to third world locations and guest lecturer at various universities in Southern California and abroad. Pastored several churches and was Manager of a large Conference Center and local Beach Club.

I hold earned degrees from accredited colleges and universities in the field of Social Science, Theology and Clinical Counseling. I received the honor of Outstanding Graduate Student in Education from Talbot School of Theology, BIOLA University. My Doctoral Dissertation was on Temperament Theory and Therapy.

My wife and I have lectured together at various seminars and retreats on marriage, family, anger management, conflict resolution and parenting. She holds a Master's Degree from San Diego State University in Social Work, holds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the state of California and is a retired Supervisor with Child Protective Services.

My posts will be primarily on subjects related to these areas of expertise, but also some fun stories of our surfing family adventures and exotic travel locations and encounters.

My purpose is to bring some smiles to your heart, stimulation to your mind and renewal to your soul.
