TEN GREAT LIES IN WESTERN CULTURE

1. ISRAEL IS THE OPPRESSIVE OCCUPIERS OF THE PALESTINIAN ARABS. Jews are the only people to inhabit the same land, speak the same language, retain the same religion and celebrate the same customs for almost 3,000 years. They have a historical, legal and biblical right to their ancestral homeland. Protecting their land from constant terrorism is moral and justified.

2. ABORTION IS A WOMAN'S HEALTHCARE RIGHT. Science confirms that life begins at conception. Natural law confirms that murder is immoral. The premeditation murder of an innocent baby is not a right. It is a crime against humanity.

3. NATIVE AMERICANS WERE HIGHLY CIVILIZED AND MAINLY PEACEFUL BEFORE THE EUROPEAN INVASION. Tribal violence and warfare are well documented and were common including: tribal genocide, infant sacrifices, kidnapping, rape, slavery, theft, torture and witchcraft. All cultures need the forgiveness and redemptive love of Christ.

4. LGBTQIA+ SHOULD BE CELEBRATED IN AN INCLUSIVE, CARING CULTURE. All humans are created in the image of God and should be respected and loved. Gender Dysphoria, Genital Mutilation, Sexual Perversion and Intersex Condition requires medical and therapeutic intervention. That is the loving and kind response to physical and mental disorders. 

5. MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ANYBODY WHO LOVES EACH OTHER. The historic and essential definition requires a male and female that biologically, psychologically and spiritually compliment one another. Communities and civilizations thrive where children have healthy male and female role-models. An open definition can justify various relationships that are in violation of established penal codes of moral conduct and the deterioration of civilization.

6. MACRO EVOLUTION IS A SCIENTIFIC FACT. There is nothing in the fossil record that establishes transmutation of species. There are billions of highly complex forms of life suddenly appearing in the Cambrian strata. Pre-Cambrian strata is virtually void of life. the statistical probability of life spontaneously generating from non-living matter makes naturalistic evolution a position of extreme faith.

7. THE FOUNDING FATHER'S OF THE USA WERE PRIMARILY DEISTS AND HUMANISTS. In the historical documents there are numerous references to prayer. Benjamin Franklin affirmed that their frequent prayers were answered throughout the Revolution. Almost all the original State Constitutions required that their representatives were not only theists but Christians. Only theists pray to a personal God.

8. PATRIARCHAL OPPRESSION OF WOMAN IS THE PRIMARY REASON FOR INEQUALITY. The history of civilization confirms that men and women need each other to survive. Both bring skill sets that are necessary for the protection and nurturing of life. Men thrive when they protect, provide and become priests for their family. Women thrive as nurturers, managers and ministers in their home and community. The oppression is manifested in the sin nature of both sexes. Greed, control, self-centered pride, lust, jealousy, hatred, slander and malice are the evils that perpetuate inequality.

9. RHETORIC THAT CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD IS OFFENSIVE, EXCLUSIVE AND INTOLERANT WHICH IS CONSIDERED "HATE SPEECH". Jesus did make the claim of unique Deity and only Savior of the world. He showed us what God is like and what humans can be when filled with God's Spirit. His supernatural life, teachings, miracles, sacrificial death and glorious resurrection fulfilled all the Scriptural Messianic prophecies. He is either True or False. In every discipline of science, truth is very narrow.

10. ALL RELIGIONS BASICALLY TEACH THE SAME UNIVERSAL MORAL TRUTHS. The universal laws of don't kill, lie, steal, covet or lust are shared by the great world religions and civilizations. An introductory course in comparative world religions reveals the vast differences. Christianity has a unique view of God, Scripture, Sin, Suffering, Salvation, Meaning and Destiny.
